How to achieve round Whoopie Pies

For a consistent round shape, use a standard metric tablespoon measure. Scoop Whoopie Pie batter with tablespoon and flatten with spatula to level out.

Drop the cake batter onto tray 5cm apart, allowing enough room for the Whoopie rounds to spread.

To make the dropping of the batter easy, use a thin flexible spatula or palette knife, scoop batter and drop onto tray. To further enhance the shape use a knife or flexible spatula to make a perfect round.
