Snowman Cookies

Chocolate Bombe Alaska
Makes 8

You will need:

  • 1 x Betty Crocker® Rainbow Cookie Mix
  • 80g butter, softened
  • 1 x (59g) egg
  • 16 x Pretzel sticks
  • 8 x jube lollies (cut into hat shape)
  • 16 x mini choc chips
  • 2 x dried apricots (cut into small pieces for nose)
  • 1 x tube red writing gel
  • 1 x Betty Crocker® Creamy Deluxe Vanilla Frosting

Follow these basic steps

  1. Preheat oven for 10 minutes at 180°C/350°F (160°C fan-forced oven).
  2. Stir cookie mix, butter and egg in a large bowl until a soft dough forms. Use your hands to fully mix the dough.
  3. Spoon dough into 8 tablespoon size balls, 8 dessert spoon size balls and 8 teaspoon size balls. For each snowman, place 3 balls in decreasing sizes with edges just touching on ungreased cookie sheet; flatten balls slightly. Place snowmen about 8 cm apart.
  4. Bake for 7 to 9 minutes until pale golden and just set. Remove from oven; immediately insert pretzel sticks into sides of middle balls for arms. Cool completely, about 15 minutes.
  5. Frost cookies with vanilla frosting, decorate with mini m&m’s, for buttons, mini choc chips for eyes, dried apricots for nose, jube lolly for hat and draw mouth on with writing icing gel.
