Expert Tips

Create varied and different bugs depending on what you can find in your local shop. All you need are sweets for the body, the head and wings, then some laces for antenna and a writing icing pen for the eyes.

If you are feeling very creative, why not try shaping your own bugs using fondant icing. Ladybirds, caterpillars and bees are easy and great to start with.

Create colourful surroundings for your bugs by tinting the icing with food colouring.
