- 1 540g Betty Crocker™ Vanilla Cake Mix
- 80 g butter, melted (or 80ml vegetable oil)
- 3/4 cup (180ml) milk (or water)
- 3 extra-large eggs
- 1 450g tub Betty Crocker™ Ready-to-Spread Strawberry Flavoured Frosting
Ready in just over an hour, this dessert recipe combines Betty Crocker™ Vanilla Cake Mix and strawberry frosting to create a cake for any situation. You’ll be impressed with the smooth flavour and great texture.

Preheat oven for 10 minutes at 180°C/350°C (160°C fan-forced oven). Grease a 22cm x 10cm loaf pan with oil or cooking spray. Line the base with baking paper
Beat Cake Mix, butter, milk and eggs in a medium bowl with an electric mixer on LOW speed for 30 seconds, then on MEDIUM for 2 minutes. Pour into pan and gently smooth top.
Bake for 50-55 minutes until top springs back when lightly touched in the centre or skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes; gently remove cake from pan. Remove paper and cool on a wire rack.
Spread Betty Crocker™ Ready-to-Spread Strawberry Flavoured Frosting thickly over cake.
