Jazz up a speedy blondie baked in a mug with berries, yoghurt, granola and honey to make a filling sweet treat perfect for breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

  • 1 sachet Betty Crocker™ Chocolate & Caramel Blondie Mug Treats
  • 20ml milk
  • 25g blueberries
  • 1 container caramel sauce (from the Mug Treats box)
  • 50g blueberry yoghurt
  • 1 tablespoon crunchy oat granola
  • 1 teaspoon honey

  • Combine the blondie mix sachet and the milk in a microwave-safe mug (approximately 200ml). Stir vigorously using a spoon or fork until evenly mixed and smooth. Fold in half the blueberries.
  • Microwave on High for 65-75 seconds (for a 800W to under 1000W microwave) or 50-65 seconds (for a 1000W and higher wattage microwave). Meanwhile, put the caramel sauce container in a cup of hot water for 30 seconds to allow it to soften slightly.
  • Carefully remove the mug from the microwave. Open the container of caramel sauce and spread over the top of the blondie. Leave to stand for 2 minutes. Top with the yoghurt, remaining blueberries, granola and honey to serve.

Expert Tips

  • Dried blueberries or sour cherries can be used instead of the fresh blueberries.
  • Use a fragrant mixed blossom honey for the best flavour. Or try a drizzle of agave nectar instead.
