How to Ice a Cake Smoothly
To impress others with a beautifully smooth iced cake, first apply a very thin layer of icing to the cake to seal in the crumbs. Then pop the cake in the fridge for an hour to allow this to harden. When the icing has set, take it out and ice as you normally would, starting with the top and finishing with the sides. Then stand back and marvel at your perfect creation!
